FRANCIS COURT

Architect: Paul M. Falsetto

Builder: Fackler Construction

Winner: 2016 DeMuro Award

Francis Court is the first entirely new building to be constructed in downtown Dayton in five decades, sparking great community interest. It's a mixed use development anchored by commercial tenants Dayton Mercantile and the award winning Seufert Winery along with two residences occupying the second floor. The building was designed to compliment the newly restored Block House Cafe immediately next door. Francis Court adds density and vitality to this historic area and demonstrates the continued viability of the mixed-use model that once defined small town main streets. Francis Court won Restore Oregon's prestigious 2016 DeMuro Award.
